The Midwest Bruins are excited to announce their upcoming schedule for 2010! The Bruins will kickoff thier second season with the annual Kickoff BBQ, which will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2010. Specific details for the BBQ are in the works, but it is guaranteed to be a great event. There will be great food, Bruin merchandise, raffle items, a silent auction...and most importantly a baseball scrimmage between the 2010 Bruins and alumni Bruins! The Bruins opening tournament will be at St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO June 3rd-6th. Division 1's K-State University, will be the teams next stop. After returning from Manhattan, the Bruins are thrilled to host the 1st Annual Midwest Bruin Classic! This tournament will be played at the new all turf fields at SCABA at Lake Shawnee in Topeka, Kansas. Spots are filling fast. Emporia State University will be the next site for the Bruins and then onto Division II's Central Missouri University in Warrensburg, MO. Wrapping up the Midwest Bruins season will be a trip to Wichita State University and the Hap Dumont World Series held in Topeka.
