The Midwest Bruins program allowed me to play at a high level of baseball against top tier talent while also playing in front of college coaches of all levels. I faced the some of the best competition in the nation, which has prepared me for the high level of baseball that I am playing now. The coaching staff gave each of us players the feel of what it would be like to play at the collegiate level while also having fun and enjoying our time on the diamond. I believe the Midwest Bruins program will only continue to improve and expose their players at the highest level. I would recommend any player looking to play at the college level to play for this great program and coaches.

"The Midwest Bruins organization is coached by two of the most young knowledgeable coaches that the state has to offer. Coach Schroeder and Swart have played collegiate level and know what it takes to get there. I was coached by Coach Schroeder for 3 years and because of him I have 3 quality pitches that got me to where I am now. I recommend the Midwest Bruins team for any player that has the passion to get to the next level because the coaches will prepare you for it and you'll get to play infront of college coaches against quality competition all around the Midwest ."

"Playing with the Midwest Bruins had many benefits. Being a Bruin allowed me to play the highest level of competition I have ever played. It also gave me plenty of exposure to colleges. Playing for the Bruins helped me become comfortable playing against college caliber players . The coaches also coach like a college coach would, helping more with the the approach to the game, rather than just mechanics. I would recommend the Bruins to anybody playing who wants to play a high level of college baseball."

"Looking back on last summer I can honestly say it was the most successful baseball season of my life. Thanks to the changes in style of baseball, competition, teammates, coaches and the winning attitude we came to the field with every day. Starting out the summer, I did not know what coaching style I was going to get; I soon found out Coach Schroeder and Coach Swart were preparing us for the mature, fast paced, college baseball we were soon about to play. The tournaments we played in were high profile and we played against countless MLB draftees throughout the midwest states. Coach Schroeder and Coach Swart preached the mature, professional playing style that is expected at the Division 1 level. Division 1 and 2 as well as junior college coaches were at our games all summer no matter where we were playing, keeping an eye out for any player that caught their attention. Playing with the Midwest Bruins got my name put out there to coaches throughout the midwest states, thus helping me play baseball at the college level. I appreciate all you guys have done for me."

Parents

"My son David played baseball with the Midwest Bruins during the summer of 2009 and will join the team again for the 2010 season. The experience has been very positive. The coaches have brought together players who are not only competitive, but also share a desire to improve and build team chemistry essential for success. The coaches have the baseball experience necessary to help those players who have the desire to play at the next level. In addition, the Bruins coaches and support personnel develop a balance between hard work, discipline, and an atmosphere that is positive and family oriented. I highly recommend that any athlete who wants to advance to higher levels in baseball strongly consider the Midwest Bruins as their choice for summer baseball."
-Kent Lammers – Topeka, KS

"Our son Ryan had the opportunity to play for Adam and Kenny on the Midwest Bruins during the summer of 2009.  He also played the previous 2 summers for Adam.  Ryan was able to compete against the best talent, in the highest profile showcases, in the Midwest.  This also allowed Ryan to play in front of college coaches and professional scouts every weekend.  The instruction and advice from the coaching staff, combined with the quality of teammates and opponents, helped Ryan earn a scholarship to play baseball at Cloud County Community College.  Bruins baseball was an extraordinary experience for our entire family.  We recommend the Midwest Bruin organization to anyone wanting to play at the next level. "

"Adam Schroeder and Kenny Swart provide a great opportunity for young baseball players to gain experience and exposure in a positive baseball environment.  The Midwest Bruins are a first class organization, and should be the first choice for kids in the heartland area who are seeking to play elite level competition and are looking to gain excellent instruction/coaching over the course of their amateur careers.  This organization cares about getting your kids to the next level."

“The Midwest Bruins baseball organization is not only a way for your child to get exposure for the next level, but also to prepare for it. If there is one thing that I learned from all the years I have played, it's that there is a RIGHT way to play baseball. That RIGHT way is what college and professional scouts are always looking for. Adam and Kenny will teach your child these fundamentals that work not only on the field but off it as well.”
